Information/intelligence

Hello all

I've mentioned in previous posts about the importance of letting us know about suspicious activity which can encompass a whole host of different things but what comes up quite often is suspected drug dealing and some of the information we have received previously has either been new to us or has corroborated what we already knew whether that's because we had been supplied the information from another member of public or it was from our own observations so thank you to those who have already helped us in building a bigger picture on certain individuals, vehicles, addresses and areas.

The information that we receive doesn't get swept under the carpet, I know that at times residents will give the police information repeatedly and it appears that nothing gets done about it but I want to assure you that it's not through want of trying and certain crimes like drug dealing/supply can take a while to build that ‘bigger picture’ until some kind of intervention happens, arrests etc.

We have had some great results on the Marsh over the last year or so even up until recently by arresting drug dealers and seizing large amounts of drugs and cash and a large part of being able to do this is using information that we receive from the public.

I'm not asking for you to create us more work because we're sat here twiddling our thumbs and eating doughnuts with no work to do because we have plenty but that's what we're here for to serve our communities AND we can multi-task and eat doughnuts whilst reading through your valuable information!

All joking aside, we would like any information that you believe is linked to drug dealing.
